Special Education Coordinator
Take a leadership role in special education at a school bringing Montessori education to urban public school children! Hire, supervise, evaluate and support the special education staff, including SPED teachers and assistants, OT, PT, etc. Responsible for chairing all SPED team meetings, overseeing special education services, and ensuring regulatory compliance. 200-day position to start ASAP. FT Classroom Assistant Teacher
FT Assistant Teacher: Support lead teacher, prepare and maintain the academic and social environment, and assist children while the lead teacher is giving lessons. FT/PT Paraprofessionals: Immediate opening for individuals to work either part time or full time in elementary level public Montessori classrooms. Work with individuals or small groups of students under the supervision of the Special Education Teacher and Classroom Teacher to provide support to students with learning differences. Minimum of an Associates Degree and experience working with elementary school age children; education courses a plus.
