About Enrollment:

Children who are Massachusetts residents are eligible to attend HVM. Haverhill residents, however, receive enrollment priority over students from other Massachusetts cities and towns.

The enrollment process at HVM meets all State requirements for Massachusetts Charter Schools.

 ~ Important Notice ~

A parent or legal guardian must attend a Parent Information Session in order for their child(ren) to be enrolled at HVM. Enrollment forms are only distributed at these informational sessions.

In the event that the number of children who enroll is greater than the number of available openings, a public lottery is then held to determine each child's enrollment or wait list status.

All applications received are divided into Haverhill resident and Haverhill non-resident categories. If there is a surplus of resident applications, names of Haverhill residents will be drawn first, then non-residents, and a waiting list is developed.

A disinterested member of Haverhill's community, such as a minister or local politician, will preside over the lottery to draw the names. Students will be enrolled based on their selection in the lottery.
