Throughout the school year HVM offers parents and guardians various opportunities to learn more about the Montessori educational model as well as its implementation in a public school environment. 

At the beginning of the school year HVM holds back-to-school nights for each of its levels.  During this time, parents/guardians are able to meet the classroom teacher and learn about the structure and expectations set for the school year.

HVM also hosts "curriculum nights" where parents are invited to learn about specific areas of the curriculum. 

Ongoing Parent Ed Opportunities 

All HVM teachers present on an aspect of the curriculum at least once during the school year to the Board of Trustees as well as at the school's monthly parent meetings (Community Parnership). 

Throughout the year HVM holds tours specially-designed to provide parents an opportunity to see HVM in action.  During these tours, parents get a view of the various levels and have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with the school's administration.
