Special Education

As a public school, Hill View Montessori Charter Public School is required to provide special education services like other Massachusetts district schools.

HVM currently employs a case management model for special education services.  As such, there is one learning differences teacher serving the Upper Elementary classrooms; two learning differences teachers serving the kindergarten and Lower Elementary classrooms; three Title I teachers, a Learning differences teacher in the Middle School, as well as five paraprofessionals, and therapists for speech and language and occuptational therapy.

Under IDEA 2004, school districts must provide the Parent's Notice of Procedural Safeguards once per year to all parents of eligible students with disabilities.  This information is available to all families as an attachment below.  To request a hard copy, please contact  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
