Hill View Montessori Charter Public School provides instruction in "specials" including art, fitness and music. Each of the specials is offered weekly to all students and varies in duration.
Technology is viewed as a tool for accessing curriculum and learning rather than as a subject unto itself. As such, HVM does not provide whole-class direct technology instruction in a computer laboratory. Instead, technology education is integrated into the Upper Elementary and Middle School classrooms. All Upper Elementary and Middle School students have access to classroom laptops and wireless networking. HVM continues to build its technology resources within the classrooms.
