City Welcomes HVM

On Wednesday, August 18, 2004 HVM celebrated its Grand Opening with an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony hosted by the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. Founders, staff, families and community leaders were pleased to celebrate this historic event alongside State Representatives, Members of the Haverhill City Council, the School Committee, and Haverhill District Schools.

HVM opened Monday, August 23, 2004. Staff and volunteers were busy preparing the building and volunteers are still needed to help. To find out more, please contact Peg Roberts, Executive Director at (978) 521-2616.

Families Making A Difference!

Hill View Montessori parents and students participated in Haverhill's Sixth Annual Bloomfest on Saturday October 23rd to help plant 10,000 tulip and daffodil bulbs around City Hall, Haverhill District Court, GAR Park, the library and other civic places. 

 Denise Johnson, leads the city's Brightside Program, a Community Partner to HVM since its inception.

 

Denise organized the event and stated "You spend a little time on a Saturday morning and then a few months later you get to see the rewards."

 

Many thanks to all who participated in this community service project that helps to brighten our community!
