Charter schools are obligated to follow strict accountability standards in three key areas:

• Mission Adherence: Faithfulness to the school’s mission

• Educational Performance: Demonstrated academic success

• Operational Competence: Organizational viability

Additionally, Charter schools must develop detailed accountability plans every 5 years to evaluate the school's mission and main characteristics.
