
Discrimination-Title IX, Chapter 622 Regulations
Title IX Nondiscrimination Policy & Notice of Nondiscrimination (§ 106.8(b)–(c))
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 states:
No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. 20 USC § 1681.
As required by Title IX and in compliance with Title IX, Hill View Montessori Charter Public School (HVMCPS) does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education programs or activities, including in its admission or employment practices. Inquiries regarding the application of Title IX to HVMCPS' education program and activities are directed to the appropriate Title IX Coordinator.
